What is Prowler?
Prowler is an agentic radar. You nominate the accounts and websites you track on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and the open web; Prowler scans them on a schedule, and two AI agents clean, de-duplicate, summarise, categorise and rank what they published into one feed.
Is it a social listening tool?
No. Listening tools search the whole internet for keywords and measure sentiment at scale. Prowler starts from a list of named sources you chose and reports what those sources published, ranked. It is precise, cheaper, and works on platforms with no keyword search.
Which platforms does it cover?
Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and any public website. A single source can have a main URL plus up to four backup URLs on other platforms, tried in order if the main one fails.
How often does it scan?
Manual, weekly, daily, every six hours or hourly, per source. The Free plan is manual only, Individual scans as often as every six hours, Business as often as hourly. A Quick Scout scans everything on demand.
What does a scan cost?
Plans include a monthly credit allowance; one credit is $0.10. A scan of an X account or website costs 0.4 credits, Instagram or Facebook 0.6, TikTok 0.8, and a web search 1.4. Only scans that return content are charged.
What happens to items after 48 hours?
Feed items are deleted after 48 hours so the feed always describes the present. Anything you save is kept permanently, with its image copied into Prowler's own storage so it survives the original post's deletion.
How is the feed ranked?
Rank is arithmetic, not opinion. Each item gets a 0–100 rank from its interactions within the scan, and a trending score that divides interactions by a platform baseline and halves every 24 hours, so a TikTok view and an X repost sit on one scale.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes 20 credits a month and three sources with manual scans, no card required. Individual is $25 a month for 25 sources; Business is $75 a month for 100 sources.
